ART PORTFOLIO

Recently I have been trying to create a portfolio, though sometimes I lack imagination! I'm applying for a fashion course at college this year, but I need to draw up some designs for a portfolio which is required for the course interview! So far I have created some t shirt designs which I need to recreate on a graphics program, needing to download photoshop soon.. Here is an example of one of my candy skull drawings so far, and soon I will update with more of my clothes designs. Please comment and give feedback, it would be much appreciated!

BEAUTY REVIEW:MODELS OWN 'PINK FIZZ'

I just love the models own makeup brand, there is not a single product that doesn't catch my eye. From there kaladeoscope nail varnishes to there bright lipsticks, nothing can go wrong! Recently I purchased a few of their nail varnishes including this one which has to be my favourite purchase from the brand so far. They remind me of Barry m but of course are different! The first thing i noticed when purchasing this nail polish is the packaging and casing. It looks fresh, modern and funky. When using the nail varnish I found that around 2 costs need to be applied for full coverage. The brush is fantastic for painting nails and covers a whole area at once. The nail varnish itself I found after having it for a few weeks has become a little thick but that can easily be fixed by pouring a small amount of nail polish remover in and shaking it. The colour of the polish is called 'pink fizz' it is a purpley glittery pink that shimmers a lot when applied to the nails. It also lasts for ages and doesn't chip easily, definitely recommended for anyone that loves long lasting beautiful colours on their nails!

After just one year of modeling she has graced the cover of Vogue Paris with Tom Ford, walked in the Valentino, Chanel, and Dior Haute Couture shows in Paris, and received dancing lessons from Madonna for a Miu Miu ad campaign video. She lists Lara Stone and Doutzen Kroes as models she looks up to and admires.'

Daphne is by far one of the prettiest people I've ever seen. Her jaw structure, eyes, lips and nose are perfect and her hair is flawless.

MUSIC REVIEW:FLYING LOTUS

Today I came across a music artist named 'Flying Lotus'.  Steven Ellison, Flying Lotus being his stage name is a multi-genre experimental artist. The first song I listened to and the song I am also reviewing is called 'Elephant ride'. In my opinion, some of his music can be compared to the likes of Crystal Castles, MGMT and Wu-Tang. Elephant ride is a hypnotic song, and reminds me of something from the middle east. It doesn't have vocals and the sample used in the track is a song called "Aa Jaane Jaan" from an  old Bollywood movie, Inteqam. I like the song because it's chilled and it's different, and it's also creative. I can actually imagine riding an Elephant to this song. I read somewhere that Flying Lotus smokes weed and then makes his beats... fair! But overall, his music is trippy and is a bit more different to anything else out there. Check him out, he's sick!

FASHION:BIKER CHICK

Anyone that knows me will know that I don't often dress girly! I prefer the ragged, edgy look and I look ridiculous most of the time in a fucking dress. So i've created an outfit that goes together perfectly to fit in with 2012 trends including camo, studs and wet look leggings. This outfit says 'I don't care' but it's sexy at the same time! Team with some hot shades and red lipstick to pimp this look out even more. But be warned, this outfit will put a strain on your pockets!

Take 2! This is my second take on a blog other than tumblr. So let me introduce myself. My name is Chrystal, I'm nineteen and I live in the South East of England. I aspire to do lots of things, but mainly to end up working in Fashion maybe as an editor/journalist or even a designer if I dare to aim high enough!
